Good morning Zimbabwe and complements of the new year. It has been a while since we last had a conversation. A lot has transpired during my absence. 2017, could not have ended any better. Even after purging Mujuru and her colleagues, factionalism remains rife within Zanu PF. Mugabe knows that his leadership can only be secure when there is division and infighting in Zanu PF. When we were growing up, politics was a pastime activity for the mature and the old. A dangerous pastime so to speak. In those days, people with divergent views from the party and government did not discuss politics in the public, if they did, at least they did not dare express their honest opinions.
